10 members in attendance - with three officers in attendance - constituting a quorum

Treasurer report ready by Sharon Lambkin in the absence of Darline Yeoman.
Read the ending balance as of April 19, 2001 - $778.20

New Members joined - Charles Reeves & Mary Reeves - Paid $7.50 to John Wolfe.
John will take the check to the bank to go into the Car Club account.

Ending Balance will be $793.20

Sharon Lambkin read the general discussions from the last two meetings (May 21 and June 14) which were not a full meeting due to a quorum not being present.

Business Left Over -

* Discussed Show and Shine - Motion was made to hold a Show & Shine at the
Ice Wagon in Rockport every 2nd Saturday.

* Show and Shine scheduled for August 11th from 11 - 3.at the Ice Wagon.

*Tommy Lambkin checked with Ice Wagon regarding our holding a Show & Shine there every 2nd Saturday - they said they would be happy for us to be there.

* Tommy Lambkin met with the Pilot Newspaper in Rockport trying to stir up some
interest in covering the Show & Shine at the Ice Wagon on July 14th. they, of course, they said they would try to cover it. Will keep knocking on their door until they do cover it.

* Sharon Lambkin reported that the two previous invitations to individuals that entered the car show to invite them to our meetings went unanswered - Had not invited them to the last two meetings due to the attendance of meetings, but will extend an invitation for the meeting on August 9th at the ole Time Grill.

New Business

* New Member Charles Reeves suggested we leave our contact name at the Visitors
Bureau as he tried to find a contact when he came into town and they knew nothing about
us.

** Tommy Lambkin to leave contact information with the Visitors Bureal.

*New Member Charles Reeves also suggested we list our club with Hammonds Motor News on the web.

**Sharon Lambkin to have Car Club listed with Hammonds Motor News.

* The web page is now up to date with all members names. Pictures and info will be
added to the page upon it's receipt.

* Charles shared his attendance at the Victoria Car Show and invited some people to the Rockport meeting.

*Henry wanted to know where to find out where a care is made.

** John has a book with serial numbers in it to look up. Reported that the Horseless Carriage Foundation has researched information.
