TIRED OF THUMBING YOUR NOSE AT GOD??

Let's separate Church and State
Said a wise old politician - not realizing he was sealing his fate.

Let's make a law and take prayer out of school.
Who do you think this really fooled.

Oh my gosh, someone left God laying around.
We can't talk about God in school - how would that sound?

Write an essay on anything you want the teacher said.
But you can't write about God these precious children have been fed.

But where is God? Who is God? the children ask.
We don't have time for that - the parents shoot back so fast.

Who are their heroes of this day?
Without guidance the new generation will surely pay.

Now we stand back and look at the chaos around us.
Ever so eager to blame others and make a big fuss.

Even the oceans would dry up without replenishing the water.
Is it any wonder the children's minds turn to fodder.

There is no right or wrong they are being taught.
Where are our values won by many battles fought.

If you believe in God you are taught you are very weak.
The love of God they fail to seek.

We can kill our babies by the scores.
Our streets are turned into signs of war.

Oh how our Savior's heart must break.
To see where we are in such an awful state.

Living our life as we please.
We've lost sight of the precious keys.

Our children turn to the ridiculous just to be noticed.
The evil of this world becomes their focus.

Has the door been closed to the path we need?
Jesus is watching - just plant the seed.

So people laugh at you for trying - what do you care?
Don't you think saving that soul from Hell is worth a dare.

Jesus is there with His arms open wide.
For this very purpose is the reason He died.

If God's Children would focus on even one and pray.
Under our Fathers Wings they would carefully stay.

We could soon have the devil's arms tied.
On our knees we would come and to our Savior they would confide.

As you see that broken Spirit on the street.
You don't have to make a scene - you can be very discrete.

God is not hard of hearing - just say 'God touch them and heal them I pray.'
Keep them close to You and give them the strength to stay.

Don't let a day go by without lifting a hurting heart up.
Jesus is there and will so gently fill their cup.

Stop blaming the forces around.
Let your prayers be heard abound.

Our God's arms are open to us all.
At the foot of the cross let us all quickly fall.
