I received an e-mail from a Child of God asking how I hear the voice of God and if I hear an audible voice. She is one up on me, because I do not hear an audible voice as she does. The voice of God comes through my Spirit. As I was reading her e-mail, the Holy Spirit fell upon me very strong and put the following poem at my fingertips. This is how I hear the voice of God - through the Holy Spirit. It is so strong that I cannot even question if it is from God. She spoke of tingling on her body and her fingers as she hears God's voice. This is how I know that the Holy Spirit is speaking to me - I feel the presence of the Holy Spirit so close that I just put my hand in His and he does the talking and I do the walking on the keyboard. When you feel the slightest presence of the Holy Spirit, open your heart and just say 'Here I am Lord - Use me, speak to me, I am your empty vessel.' Just wait for what the Lord puts on your heart. He knows your heart and knows when you really want to hear from Him. It is not only when you are in trouble - it is a daily walk with your hand in His. As I prayed for this precious Child of God, I ask the Lord to show her how I hear from Him and this poem for this precious person came flowing from the Holy Spirit to my fingertips.
THE VOICE OF GOD My
daughter, I chose your ears to hear. Don't
be concerned about what others may say. Speak
out what I have put upon your heart. My
children who do not walk closely with their hands in
mine, My
arms are always open calling my children home. You
are my witness to bring to them my light. The
battles will always rage. My
words I speak to my children in many ways. Listen
for my voice and pass my words on to those who fell they
cannot hear. My
precious children can hear my voice. My
daughter you are to walk with me side by side. You
hear my voice because you have listened to my knock and
opened the door. I
will always be by your side, your hand in mine and your
footsteps I will guide. My
daughter I am well pleased that you come boldly to the
Throne. My
daughter keep your footsteps in mine, ~~ Sharon Lambkin ~~ |
