I have a precious friend who has a great calling upon her life. The enemy has started his attack, split the marriage and is painting a very pretty picture of a life outside of God's Will. She is running from her calling and I pray the Lord will set the hook and draw her back in. The Lord laid this poem upon my heart for her.

THE POTTER'S WHEEL

This clay has been on the wheel for a time.
I've molded and shaped and my design was just fine.

Oh, my child - what is this I see - a small crack.
You know my child my hand is on this vessel and that is a fact.

The enemy would like to use this crack as his open door.
Make wide this crack and cast the vessel to the floor.

My daughter, as long as your hand remains in mine day by day,
The enemy in your life will never have a say.

Your trust in me must never fade.
Remember my daughter, the vessel I have made.

The clay on the wheel is not a pretty sight
until it has been touched by the flames and carries my light.

Once the vessel has been cured and glazed
The glow on your face will cause everyone to look and be amazed.

My daughter I have called you into my army of saints.
I know you can carry my word, pass through the fire without faint.

My child I have gifted you with carrying my word to hearts that are not sure.
Setting my children on the path where their lives can be so pure.

Remain in my steps and follow close behind.
The path I have chosen for you - you will surely find.

My daughter my arms are very long and it does not matter if you want to run.
My call upon your life is complete and in the Spirit has already been done.

I'll keep you in the palm of my hand until that time you turn to me and say,
Lord put me back on the Potters Wheel, mold me and make me - show me your way.
