FEED MY SHEEP

The many sheep that wonder the hills,
look only to one for their needs to fill.

The compassion in the heart of this one who cares,
will send him scattering for the one who dares.

The one that goes astray wonders alone and unguided.
He does not realize the danger on the path he has decided.

When we stray and take the path with many dangers,
God always sends us a shepherd, sometimes in the form of a stranger.

When we see someone in despair,
we cry out and say 'God, do you really care?'

He replies - I cared enough to die for him
that we might be one.
Jesus gave all that he had, The Father gave His only Son.

Jesus imparted in us on this earth to be
His hands and His voice.
It is by our neglect this person despairs,
it has been by our choice.

We cry "Jesus, why do so many people
suffer and moan?"
Jesus replies - "they only cry out to their human gods
and gods made of stone."

He sends one to shepherd many and
care for them as they thirst.
Never judge by appearance,
the first will be last and the last will be first.
